Guys ano ok na dive op and dive sites dito? any idea of damage to my seiko wallet?
I'll be with 1 batchmate from Upsilon and friends from kung saan saan. All of them are non-divers so I'm not sure if i'll be able to dive but I'm keeping my options open.
Thanks in advance.
Vincey no need to reply. i know you've been to bora. Jigo wag na din. alam ko naman rivals tayo hehe

There's only 1 dive site that stands out in boracay. YAPAK! You would sure enjoy this. Most dives in yapak are done early in the morning.

they usually charge around 1k - 1.2k per dive (including gear rental) in bora. dives in yapak are done 7 - 8 am.

Totally agree! It's the only sight worth seeing. THe rest kase are pretty blah. Astig pa how the DMs there locate the site they use the 3 point something where there references are like 3 mountains waaaay far from where the site. As in parang the boat has to be at a certain angle to the mountains galeng sobra! Or at least that's how louis of boracay scuba does it. The site is at 100-120ft so it's a quick dive unless of course naka nitrox ka and tide permitting. Parang canyons yung site in terms of location, curyente galore sya if you catch it on a bad time so you wanna dive in it during slack tide. The operators know when they are so you can ask them the best time to dive. We dove it around 730 in the morning. Nice, coron-ish ang dating in that it's nice in an eerie sort of way. Dim, coz not much light gets through but you can cound on the huge tunas passing through. Ayan just sharing Naks pabora bora ka na lang ngayon ha!

Nice FR raine ;D you really could be counted on to give a good description of anything To add to raine's description, yapak is actually divided into 2. yapak 1 and yapak 2. it's a wall dive and the top of the wall starts at 90 feet, above that its all blue water. Currents can get strong here. but as they say, the stronger the current the bigger and plentier the fish. Marine life to expect here include tunas, snappers, huge groupers, sweetlips. sharks are also common. And if you are lucky, hammerheads and mantas.
